Dr. Smitha S obtained her B.Sc. (Agriculture) from Kerala Agricultural University, M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension from Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat, and Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension from the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal. She was awarded the UGC-JRF and the NDRI Merit Fellowship during her Ph.D. studies. Dr. Smitha began her career as Assistant Manager (Agriculture) at Indian Bank, later served as an Agriculture Officer with the State Department of Agriculture, and joined Kerala Agricultural University in March 2019.
