Centre for Agricultural Innovations and Technology Transfer (CAITT), CoA, Vellayani

The objectives of the Centre for Agricultural Innovations and Technology Transfer (CAITT), Vellayani, are to support innovations in climate, water, and nutritional security for sustainable development, transfer KAU technology and popularize it through Front-Line Demonstrations (FLDs), educate farmers through Farmers' Field Schools (FFS), validate KAU technology through OFT, and organize training for various stakeholders. A center for urban agriculture involved in research and extension initiatives is also attached to CAITT.
